At the Cultural Travel Company, we draw on years of experience and expertise when we create our opera and music festival itineraries. We pick the most exciting performances, secure good tickets, and invite only the most interesting musicologists to be our guest speakers. We also know how important it is to have time to relax and recharge the batteries before each performance.
As a result, extraordinary, unforgettable experiences await our guests. Our 2019 trips take us first to Leipzig, where we see Wagner’s Ring Cycle in the composer's native city with an excursion to Bayreuth, and later in the year, to the clear and intimate acoustic of Budapest's Béla Bartók Concert Hall, for four consecutive nights' the Ring Cycle directed by Ádám Fischer.
In 2020 we have two departures to the extraordinary meeting of high art and religious ritual in Oberammergau for the once-in-a-decade performance of the Passionplay. The itinerary includes two days in Munich, all in the hugely enlightening company of tour leader Tom Abbott.
